Possible Additional Fees (Estimated Ranges)

We believe in transparent pricing. In some moves, additional fees may apply depending on access, special handling, or extra services needed. If any of the fees below apply, we’ll communicate it clearly once the situation is confirmed (often during the walkthrough/on-site).

Liftgate Service (Truck Liftgate)

$30–$50 (when needed)
A liftgate fee may apply when a powered lift is required to safely load or unload items (common for storage units, businesses, or locations without a ramp).

Disassembly & Reassembly

$30–$50 per item
May apply for furniture that must be taken apart and put back together to move safely or fit through doorways/hallways (beds, tables, desks, shelving, etc.).

Stairs (Per Flight)

$50–$75 per flight
May apply when stairs are required for carrying items to/from the truck. Amount can depend on stair width, turns, item size/weight, and overall difficulty.

Elevator / Building Access

$50–$75 per elevator
May apply in buildings where elevator use adds time or complexity (small/slow elevators, long waits, service elevator rules, long hallways, limited access, etc.).

Packing & Protection Materials

$40–$80 one-time charge (if used)
May apply if materials are used during the move, such as stretch/shrink wrap, packing tape, mattress bags, and protective coverings.
This is a one-time charge — not per item.

Bulky / Heavy Items

$25–$50 per item
May apply for oversized, unusually heavy, or difficult-to-handle items that require extra manpower, special equipment, or added time (safes, pianos, pool tables, large sectionals, heavy solid-wood pieces, large appliances, etc.).
