Terms of Use
Please read these terms before using the 1 Truck 2 Movers website or services.
Last updated:
1. Agreement to These Terms
By accessing or using the website and services of 1 Truck 2 Movers(“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use our website or submit your information.
2. Our Services
1 Truck 2 Movers provides moving and related services, including labor-only services and truck-and-movers services, subject to availability and confirmation. Any quote shown on the website or provided by phone, text, or email is an estimate only until confirmed by our team.
3. Quotes, Bookings, and Payments
When you request a quote, you agree to provide accurate information about your move, including addresses, dates, access, and move size. Final pricing may change if actual conditions are different from what was described.
- Estimates: Estimates are based on the information you provide and are not a guaranteed price.
- Deposits: Some jobs may require a deposit to reserve your date and time. Deposit terms are shared at the time of booking.
- Balance due: Any remaining balance is typically due on or before completion of the job, as described in your confirmation.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Specific cancellation or rescheduling fees may apply depending on how close to your scheduled move date the change is requested. Any such terms will be provided during booking and may be updated from time to time.
By using our services, you understand:
- Non-Refundable Deposit. A deposit may be required to reserve and confirm your requested service date and time. By paying the deposit, you acknowledge that we will schedule labor, equipment, and/or transportation resources and may decline other work to hold your slot.
- Accordingly, all deposits are non-refundable once paid, regardless of the reason for cancellation, postponement, rescheduling, delay, or inability to perform services, including circumstances outside of your control. The deposit will be credited toward your total balance due at the time services are performed. If you cancel, reschedule, or fail to proceed with the scheduled services, the deposit will be retained as liquidated damages to cover administrative costs, scheduling, and loss of availability, and is not a penalty.
5. Your Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information when requesting quotes or booking services.
- Ensure safe access to the property for our crew, including parking where possible.
- Comply with any local rules, building requirements, or elevator reservations that may apply.
- Not request the transport of illegal, hazardous, or prohibited items.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the website or services after any changes means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Additional Charges
1. Cubic Feet / Shipment Size Adjustment This estimate is based on the approximate cubic footage of the shipment as disclosed by the customer at the time of booking. If the actual shipment volume exceeds the estimated amount due to additional items, items not disclosed, inaccurate inventory descriptions, or changes made prior to or during the move, the total price may be adjusted to reflect the actual shipment size. Any increase related to cubic footage will be documented.
2. Bulky or Oversized Items Certain items may require additional labor, manpower, equipment, or handling due to size, shape, weight, or fragility. These items may be classified as bulky or specialty items and billed on a per-item basis. Examples include, but are not limited to: safes, large dressers, recliners, sectional sofas, treadmills, exercise equipment, gun safes, large armoires, or unusually heavy or oversized furniture. Bulky-item fees apply only when necessary and are disclosed prior to billing.
3. Mileage, Routing, and Day-of-Origin Adjustments Mileage and transportation charges are calculated using standard routing assumptions at the time the estimate is prepared. If actual routing differs due to road restrictions, truck access limitations, detours, construction, safety concerns, or other unavoidable conditions, mileage-based charges may be adjusted to reflect the actual required route. All adjustments are based on standard mapping tools and are documented on the final invoice. Mileage and travel pricing are also estimated based on anticipated crew and vehicle origin at the time of booking. Due to scheduling changes, equipment availability, or operational requirements, the assigned crew and vehicle may originate from a different service location on the day of the move. If the actual dispatch location results in increased travel distance or time beyond what was reasonably known at the time of estimate, applicable mileage or travel charges may be adjusted to reflect necessary travel from the assigned location. Any such adjustment will be disclosed to the customer and documented prior to billing.
4. Packing Materials & Protective Supplies Packing materials are not included in this estimate unless specifically listed. Additional materials such as shrink wrap, tape, mattress bags, furniture padding, protective wrap, cartons, or specialty materials used at the customer’s request or as reasonably required to protect items during transport will be billed based on actual materials used. All materials are itemized on the final invoice.
5. Stairs and Elevator Fees Additional charges may apply if stairs or elevator use were not disclosed or accurately described at the time of estimate. Stairs may be charged per flight (typically defined as 7–10 steps) beyond ground level. Elevator fees may apply when elevator use is required due to building access, wait times, or distance from loading areas. Charges may apply at both origin and destination when applicable.
6. Disassembly and Reassembly (Per Item) Furniture disassembly and reassembly services are not included unless specifically stated in the estimate. Items requiring partial or full disassembly for safe transport—such as beds, frames, desks, tables, mirrors, gym equipment, or large furniture—are billed on a per-item basis. Only necessary disassembly will be performed, and applicable charges are disclosed prior to service.
